2025 DRWTU Annual Banquet Details
Please join us to celebrate the Deerfield River and all who care for this valuable resource. Held at The Hinata Retreat’s scenic outdoor pavilion, this event will include a BBQ dinner featuring local produce, a cash bar, and an auction and prize giveaway to benefit the conservation and citizen science efforts of DRWTU.
When: Thursday, August 21 5:00-9:30pm

The cost is $65 per guest.
We’ll have a silent auction and prize giveaways. We will be awarding our Bob Anderson Conservation Award to Ben Letcher, who forged our partnership with the USGS Silvio O Conte Lab. Ben and his team provided consultation and hands-on support for many of our citizen science projects over the past seven years. His innovative ideas and attention to detail contributed to the success of our work including the second Brown Trout Spawning Study, Brown Trout Telemetry Study, Wild Trout DNA Study, Water Quality Monitoring Project, and the Troutspotters Trout ID Pilot. Be sure to congratulate Ben on his recent retirement from USGS.
