Wild Trout in the Deerfield River at the DRWTU October 2022 Chapter Meeting by Adam Kautza
Greetings DRWTU Members and Friends,
This serves to remind everyone of the meeting tomorrow at the Crazy Horse Bar and Grill at Berkshire East. This is our first indoor face-to-face meeting since early 2020, but you can also attend via the Zoom Link below. Please note that this is a CORRECTED Zoom Link. My apologies for any confusion.
After our business meeting, Adam Kautza from Mass Fish and Wildlife will be presenting about Wild Trout in the Deerfield, a talk he gave just a few weeks ago at a Symposium on Wild Trout in Montana. Adam is the Coldwater Fishery Project Leader for MassWildlife. He has been studying wild trout in the Deerfield River for the past three years. He has pitched in to co-lead or provide hands-on support to many of DRWTU’s major projects including the brown trout spawning studies.
The meeting will be starting at 6:30 PM but plan to arrive early (6:00) for drinks and socializing at the Crazy Horse if you intend to come in person. Masks are optional and there is plenty of room in the Crazy Horse Bar and Dining area to maintain social distance.
Looking forward to seeing you there (virtually),
